COLD MORNINGS

Winter is headed our way which means it's getting darker earlier and Christmas is on it's way! But the worst part?
FREEZING COLD MORNINGS!

If you have to school or college, like me, or you have to go to work pretty early you will know how much of a pain it is to get out of your comfy warm bed when it's so cold outside.

I've put together a list of things I do when I have to get up at 7am and drag myself to school on such cold mornings;

1) LAYER UP
If you don't have a school uniform wear clothes such as jumpers or hoodies, these can easily be removed if you get too hot and they will keep you warm while walking to the bus stop.
If you have to wear a school uniform, like me then you can still layer up, wear vest tops underneath your shirt or blouse, or even a t-shirt because these will keep the heat close to you.

2) HOT BREAKFAST?
One way to warm yourself up for the day is to eat or drink something hot, it will warm your body up so you don't feel as cold as you make your way to school. It can also wake you up if you need waking up for school!
Toast, pop tarts, or hot cereal go down a treat.

3) COATS AND SCARF'S
Obvious right, but the best way to keep warm! Parka coats are in this winter season and sold practically everywhere, even better they keep you very warm! As well as a parka coat there are many other winter coats in this season which will leave you stylish and warm.
Not a fan of scarf's? It doesn't have to be a winter scarf! Any scarf will do the job of keeping the cold harsh breeze away from your neck whether it be a snood, thick winter scarf or light scarf, these are also sold just about everywhere and they're not expensive either!!

4) ON THE GO COFFEE
Something I do during the winter to keep warm is take a flask of coffee to school with me, simple right?
You can drink it on the bus or just before school starts, It doesn't have to be a big flask the ones from Starbucks do the trick! Just like hot breakfast it will warm you up inside.
Also if you go to college, or you're in sixth form or you work there are sometimes hot drink machines so you could easily re-fill your flask for the way home too!

MY COLD MORNING WARMS

Unfortunately I couldn't find my flask as it was from last year but here are starbucks flasks.

MOST IMPORTANT THINGS?

Family//Parents
They get annoying, right? But throughout school you'll find yourself asking them for help with homework, getting places with friends and getting some money, support and hundreds of other things!!

Friends
Common interests, homework help, a good gossip, someone to talk to, a laugh and many other things are when friends come in handy.
You will never find yourself without a friend, whether you have one or twenty you will always have one.

Internet friends?
Although many people say internet friends are a bad thing, they're not as long as you have boundaries!
Internet friends happen through common interest on the internet, they are exactly like friends but on the internet, you see?
You don't go to the same school or maybe don't live in the same country, therefore you can talk about things your friends already know and more...

Music!!
How can music be important? Well when school gets too much, or you don't want to do anything, you're upset or for any other reason music can be a turn to thing if you don't want to chat with family or friends. Put in your ear phones, turn that song up and get lost in what you're listening to.

Social Media
Social media isn't such a bad thing you know, make new friends, find new youtube blogs, discover new music, new websites, your new favourite actor, your new man crush Monday and Woman crush Wednesday. Use social media wisely and you can open up a whole new world for yourself.
